The Mitex General Xtreme is a compact, professional two-way hand held radio (walkie talkie) of IP66 rating making it water resistant and perfect for heavy duty jobs. This model has been designed with harsher environments in mind with a 5 watts power output on UHF making it a powerful and durable, yet compact for everyday use. It delivers clear and reliable communication and is supplied pre-programmed making it ready for use straight out of the box.
Common channels across all Mitex UHF hand portables are channels 13, 14 and 15, including the Security, Site HD, Pro and DMR UHF whilst channel 16 offers a scan function. The device talks to all channels on normal General units including the Mitex Mobi mobile range.

The Mitex GeneralX is also a perfect step up for the PMR446 user that has a more robust, powerful and private need than license free radios can provide. It is covered under the same licence as the standard General so is ideal as a step up to a more durable and robust IP66 Rated unit it to use with existing Generals.
